Ingredients

4 c rice
2 tsp cumin seeds
2 c grated coconut
Salt to taste

Procedure

Soak rice for 6 hours, then drain. Grind all ingredients together, without adding any water. Form dough into small balls and set aside. Bring water to a brisk boil. Drop rice balls one by one in boiling water and cook for 20 to 30 minutes.

When balls are done, scoop them up. Serve with sugar, coconut chutney, or pickles for breakfast.
